The Village of Kitscoty is located at the junction of Highway 16 and Secondary Highway 897, approximately midway between Edmonton and Saskatoon (225 km and 295 km, respectively), and is within short commuting distance of Lloydminster. The slogan “Biggest Little Sports Center in Alberta” is symbolic of the enthusiastic participation of the residents and the various sporting facilities available. In addition, there are several cultural and fraternal organizations active in the village. We welcome visitors and new residents alike. Kitscoty offers small town heart with big city amenities nearby.

Kitscoty is located in a prime agricultural and heavy oil area, both of which provide employment opportunities for the residents. There is an abundance of raw land available for development for both residential and light industrial/commercial parcels. Water distribution and sewer collection facilities have been upgraded to accommodate future growth.
